I had to go into London today and as it was a nice afternoon i thought i would get a travel card and have a run round i went over to Kensington (Olympia) then to Gospel Oak back to Finsbury Park and back to Kings Cross for my taxi home.

Here is a selection of pictures from lolham and marholm there was an extra of a daytime RHTT working that part of the line.

I took a drive out to hearts drove for 31190 on the serco driver training from Norwich to Derby and the DRS Convoy and a turn up for the books was 6091 on the Ely Peak Forest.

I had 4E33 10:49 Felixstowe to Doncaster Railport. 4E24 10:39 Thamesport to Leeds.
And the class 60 on 6M87 12:03 Ely Papworth Sidings to Peak Forest.

Hi spent the day traveling round the UK with a £35 deal from National Express and covered 855 miles.
we set off from Peterborough up to Glasgow via the ECML and had just short of 2 hours there we then run down the WCML to London were we had a further 2 hours there and then finished back in Peterborough.
It was nearly all DMU's and EMU's at Glasgow there are some eurostars in the collection from St Pancres and some bits from the cross.

Here are a few pictures from a trip over to crown lakes in Farcet near Peterborough were this location is.

In all today there were 5 charters in the Peterborough area with such traction as 47's 57's 66's 67's and Tornado.
I started my morning at Lolham crossing just north of Peterborough on the ECML to see the 67's to Penrith which failed at Peterborough so i did not see them.
The next was the 47's to Carlisle.
I then came home and went out in the evening to see everything come back.

Thanks to a tip off this morning from various members on the gen groups and some directions from Geoff Tibble i was able to get some great shots of DRS 37229 working the 5Z92 1040 Bounds Green - Norwich CP with 2 MK3's in tow.
Also had a mix of units and a 66 or 3 to finish the day.

Just a small colection from lunchtime today i went down for Advenza 66844 working to Tilbury.
Also a few HST's in there to top up the collection.

Today 56311 worked across from Washwood heath as 0Z56 Washwood Heath to Fletton Junction.
It has come over to collect 56114 soon to be 56314 and take it back to Washwood Heath for a repaint.

Had a very good day on Saturday on a nenta charter from Peterborough that was going to Liverpool.
We got off at Manchester and took a run on the tram to the east lancs railway were we had a run behind 55022 Royal Scots Grey.
